Question 1

Can I use these oils on my face?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many people do. Apricot, our lightest oil, is a lovely choice for face rituals. Everyone's skin is different, so we recommend a patch test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use.

Question 2

I have a nut allergy. Are these oils suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

All three oils come from nut or kernel sources. If you have a nut allergy, please speak to your doctor before use and avoid these products if in doubt.

Question 3

How should I store my oil?

Accepted Answer

Keep the bottle tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat. The amber glass helps protect the oil from light. Use within the period shown on the label after opening.

Question 4

Which oil should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Choose Almond for easy everyday body and hair care, Apricot for a finer texture on face and neck, and Walnut when skin or hair needs something richer.

Question 5

How much oil should I use?

Accepted Answer

Less than you think. Two or three drops are enough for the face, four or five for the body or hair lengths. You can always add a little more.

Question 6

Can I mix the oils together?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Try blending a few drops of Walnut into Almond for a richer body oil in colder months, or add Apricot to their usual moisturiser.

Question 7

Will the oil feel greasy?

Accepted Answer

Applied to slightly damp skin and pressed in gently, the oils settle into a soft finish. Apricot is the quickest to settle; Walnut is the richest and suits dry areas and evenings.

Question 8

Can I use the oils on my hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Smooth a drop or two through the lengths and ends, or work a little more through dry hair as a treatment before washing.
